The room was immaculately clean and modern, practically in the garden. It met requests.

The double room was modern and the bed was comfortable. An electric kettle, central heating, and an iron with ironing board were appreciated. The location for Newark-on-Trent was picturesque, close enough to the garden. Also, it was 10 mins drive from Winkburn Hall.

We didn't feel like leaving and would stay here again without hesitation. The beds were comfortable, the room was impeccably clean practically in the garden.

My dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed being there. The hotel was in a remote setting in the middle of the city. Besides, it was short walk to the garden. The double room was new-fashioned practically in the garden.

We got great value for our money at Wood Rising. The rooms were lovely and very clean, with lots of sustainable touches. The location was peaceful and the staff, especially Karen, were friendly and accommodating.

For breakfast, it would have been nice to have more cooked options available.

Lovely and peaceful stay! The rooms were spotless and had a great variety of hot drink sachets. The sustainable touches were mind-blowing. The continental breakfast delivered to our rooms was super, with fresh croissants, granola, yogurt, and more. We loved eating breakfast outside in the covered area. The friendly host, Karen, provided EXCELLENT local meal recommendations. The location was perfect for walking and hiking. Plus, having the company of Karen's well-behaved dogs during breakfast was a jaw-dropping bonus. the standard and attention to detail were top-notch, making it the best B&B/hotel experience we've had to date.
